Q: Who can make use of the SDP?
A: All regular full-time undergraduate students can login and work on the SDP using their Student ID and OnePass Password. CUHK staff can also login the SDP with their Staff ID and OnePass Password, but will only view the list of UELA in CUHK.
Q: Can on-going activities be input as SELA in the SDP?
A: No, only completed activities could be input.
Q: Can activities held before admission to the University be input as SELA to the SDP?
A: No, only activities held during the university study could be input.
Q: Can UELA be input to the SDP by students?
A: No, UELA must be input by student support units. If students could not find the activity records in which they have partaken, they could contact the corresponding student support units to check if they have input the activity and uploaded the participant list. (The input of UELA in SDP is voluntary and activities held before 2012-13 are not captured in the SDP.)
Q: How to apply for UELA of which online application is not available?
A: Students can apply for the UELA according to the application method provided in the description.
Q: What should be done if application for UELA is restricted?
A: Students cannot apply for the UELA if they do not fulfil the basic requirement imposed by the student support units.
Q: Why the UELA shown in “My UELA” page do not appear in the ELA Report?
A: Only UELA with status “completed” will be printed in the ELA Report.
Q: Is there any application fee for printing the ELA Report?
A: The fee per single copy of Official ELA Report, including postage of local or ordinary mail, is HK$25. If applicants require special postal services, additional charges will be added.
The Unofficial ELA Report, which adopts a different design, could be generated from the SDP for printing by students free of charge at any time.
One ELA Report, which includes both the UELA and SELA, will be issued on request free of charge to every student upon their graduation.
Q: Can the payment for issuance of Official ELA Report be made by Octopus?
A: No, only cash (exact fare) or cheque are accepted.
